Youth Services
We provide work related services to youth who are between the ages of 14 to 21 years old, meet the income guidelines and have obstacles to overcome in obtaining employment or completing a high school diploma. Services range from job training to adult mentoring. Our staff works with all high schools, Alternative and Adult Education Programs in Yuba County. |

New EDD Web-Cert Now Available! |
The Employment Development Department (EDD) has a new method for claimants to certify for Unemployment Insurance (UI) benefits. The EDD Web-Cert method will give most claimants the additional option to certify online instead of sending in the paper Continued Claim form, DE 4581. This is the first of several online upgrades being done to improve the overall customer experience with the UI Program.
EDD Web-Cert allows you to certify for UI benefits 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

This workshop is designed to address the employment needs of individuals who have been formerly incarcerated & those with criminal records. It is being held weekly from 2:30-3:30PM on Thursdays , in the Beckwourth Room (#213) upstairs in the One Stop Center.
No sign-up required, walk-ins welcome.
Topics include: Networking, Job Search, Effective Resumes, Interviewing Skills and Training Information |

WIC provides for supplemental foods, health care referrals, and nutrition education for low-income pregnant, breastfeeding and non-breastfeeding postpartum women, and to infants and children up to age five who are found to be at nutritional risk. |

The federal Workforce Investment Act program in Yuba County is administered through the Yuba County Office of Education, Regional Career Center located in the Yuba County One Stop Center.
