Youth Training
Occupational Skills Training

Pursue occupational skills such as plumbing, carpentry or welding. This is open to out-of-school youths who may receive their training through Yuba College, ROP classes, on the job training, vocational school training, work experience or apprenticeships. Younger youth may receive training through work experience in either the private or public sector.


 
Work Readiness Training

Develop the talents you need to work effectively and interact comfortably with other people in the workplace.


 
On the Job Training

Acquire training on the job to meet with employer standards. You can learn skills while working in an entry level job. Many participants are kept by the employer as a regular employee after their initial training.


 
Leadership Development Opportunities

Leadership development opportunities which may include community service and peer-centered activities encouraging responsibility and other positive social behaviors during non-school hours.
